ARCHERY
Archery at Dunham’s Bay Fish & Game Club is under the new leadership of Chairman Dan Ladd! Dan is an outdoor writer for several publications, including the Chronicle here in local Glens Falls and he is a welcome addition to the Dunhams Bay heritage! Dan has ideas for a fun year ahead and has taken steps to make certain this happens!
The Archery field has been restored and a new practice / targeting station has been built! Dan will be setting up a dozen or two of the 3D targets around the archery field and woods in the near future.
In the inventory are many new 3D targets including deer, bear, turkey, javelina,
boar and others. The archery committee also has at their disposal many high-density foam targets and a variety of other equipment!
With careful planning and the proper leadership, which we now have for Archery, the archery program will become a vital part of the Dunham’s Bay experience once again.
With all of this equipment, and a beautiful field surrounded by woods off to the left side of the property, it is certain that Dan's Archery program will bring back the rich heriatge of Archery at Dunham’s Bay!
