Ares P2P – Reconfiguration is Deemed Not to be Modification of DirecTV

March 28th, 2010
ares p2p reconfiguration is deemed not to be modification of directv

The ninth circuit court recently ruled that reconfiguration directv access card is not modification thus does not constitute piracy. While there will probably be more research and lawsuits over the whole piracy issue, this is a small win in the war over accessing direct tv with the unlooper. The definition of the Federal Communications Act does not cover reconfiguration but it does cover modification and assembly. As the war over Internet piracy and file sharing applications trudges forward people are still sharing and downloading files from P2P software applications such as Ares. The battle for file sharing has been going on for quite some years with wins on both sides as well as losses on both sides. Maybe someday they will meet in the middle on these issues.

A New Site For P2P

The reality is that even though Napster has been around for almost a decade they can barely compete anymore when it comes to filesharing networks. There is a new site available for P2P sharing. You will have free downloads available to you within just minutes. All you have to do is download the software, install it properly and start sharing. There could not be any easier site to do this with than the one just released. You will find all the latest technology to improve the speed of your downloads. I know that I have enjoyed the service that it has provided to me.
