Acai berry health products are being sold world wide by way of the internet. But many of these products come from companies which are just cheating and scamming the public. The ruse includes such things as fake endorsements from celebrities to entice people to buy health products whose efficacy is not verified by health authorities.

To stop fake Acai firms from proliferating on the net, Visa, which is a major company holding accounts of merchants selling Acai health products, has closed down over one hundred of them. These were those who were forcing clients to sign cheap free trials which later turn out into an expensive continuity sale. Visa’s action against acai scammers is a move in the right direction.

Acai health products are being sold by these scammers on the internet. With the Visa closedown, it is hoped that consumers will only get their health products from legitimate companies. These are fewer in number compared to the numerous scam firms, but the consumer is assured of legitimate products.

The close down on fake Acai health product companies came after repeated complaints of scams were received by the company. The decision was reached to close down the scammers and was implemented quietly during the summer season. For the thousands of people who were tricked, this is great news indeed.
